The Body Vocabulary of Tantra (All Nine of Them)
Full article in development. The summary version is below — and the foundation article What Tantra Actually Is contains the integrated treatment of all nine.
The nine elements
Most tantric writing names four or five practices and stops. The actual working vocabulary is broader:
- Breath — the only autonomic system you voluntarily control
- Sound — vocalization, vagus-nerve modulation
- Voice and singing — sustained tone from the lower body
- Dance — full-body unscripted movement from impulse
- Movement — slow deliberate, somatic shaking, neurogenic tremor
- Touch — self, partnered, comfort, erotic
- Chant — rhythmic vocalization with intention
- Focused attention — sustained without leaking
- Energy work — the most distinctive element. Not metaphysics — the felt, generated, moveable sensation in an aroused body
Each of these will get its own dedicated article. The full integration is in the forthcoming book.

Read the foundation article first.
It contains the working version of this material, plus the second half almost no one teaches.
